room settings
-
a
lively and uplifting testimony meeting sharing fresh healings
-
delicious
food together in the historic dining room
-
ranger-guided

Facilities
Asilomar,
meaning "refuge by the Sea" is nestled along the shoreline of the Monterey
Bay National Marine Sanctuary in Pacific Grove, California. Its enchanted
combination of 105 acres of forest and dunes creates a dramatic backdrop
and tranquil environment for the Bible Study Seminars. Noted for its
cool ocean breezes in June, it is an ideal conference site.
Located
just 71 miles south of San Jose and 120 miles south of San Francisco,
Asilomar is conveniently served by the Monterey, San Jose, San Francisco,
and Oakland airports. The original buildings at Asilomar were designed
by the renowned architect Julia Morgan, best known for her creation
of the legendary Hearst Castle.
Over
the years, great care has been taken to harmonize Asilomar's meeting
and guest rooms with the natural environment. Physical independence
is necessary, however, jitney is available.
Asilomar
Conference Grounds is within minutes of Monterey, Carmel, and Pebble
Beach and surrounded by local attractions, including the Monterey Bay
Aquarium, Cannery Row, 17-Mile Drive, and world-renowned golf courses.
